Sunset Boulevard, a residential road intersecting CB-115, is renowned for its expansive mountain views, including the majestic Sangre de Cristo range. The land carries a deep legacy, having transitioned from the ancestral home of indigenous peoples to a territory of Spain, and later a part of the First Mexican Republic. Following the Mexican-American War, it became a U.S. territory before finally achieving statehood in 1912.
